Grace Ang

Grace is a PhD student investigating how the computations of neurons can achieve both feature selectivity and invariance in the auditory cortex. She is co-supervised by Dr. Andrei Kozlov and Prof. Claudia Clopath.

Before starting her PhD, she worked on questions about the functional implications of synaptic plasticity during behavioural learning. This was done through computational modelling, with Prof. Clopath for an MRes in Neurotechnology (Imperial College London), and using behavioural methods combined with optogenetics, with Prof. Ole Paulsen for an MPhil in Neuroscience (University of Cambridge). She holds a BSc in Neuroscience from University College London.
