Piotr Sirko

Dr. Piotr Sirko is a postdoctoral researcher in Andrei Kozlov's group. He is interested in investigating how blast injury affects cochlear sensory cells and the processing of cochlear output by the brain.

Piotr completed a PhD at the University College London Ear Institute. He worked on the mechanisms of calcium channel regulation in inner hair cells at the presynaptic side of the first auditory synapse, and intercellular calcium signalling in cochlear supporting cells.
